Coolaught Gardens

Picture a quaint farmhouse garden, flowers blooming, buzzing with wildlife, a cornucopia of colour. Welcome to Coolaught.

Situated in historic County Wexford close to the town of Enniscorthy, Coolaught is a jewel of a garden nestled amidst miles of ancient countryside, woodlands and river valleys. Come see our crocus lawns in the spring. Wander through our front garden lined with herbaceous plants and take in the sight and smell of our roses and magnolias. Stroll down the remarkable laburnum walk, dripping with yellow, towards the old orchard while strong colours and rare plants await you in the Egyptian and Woodland Gardens. Thanks to the skill of generations of gardeners, Coolaught is a year-round garden with something of interest in every season.

Our Garden Centre

If you like what you see in our garden or if you just fancy sprucing-up your own, our garden centre is now open seven days a week. We stock an array of unusual, interesting (and always beautiful) perennials, trees, shrubs and bulbs, many of which can be seen in the garden. We offer advice on planting and care so that when our customers come back to us, they’re looking for comrades for their plants, not replacements!

Garden Consultations

Let us bring decades of experience in our garden to yours. We provide bespoke consultations using our expertise to help you shape the garden of your dreams. Offering advice on designing beds, planting and maintenance, we bring our award-winning knowledge and wisdom to your garden with our consultations. Our focus is on client satisfaction and choosing the right plants for the right people whatever their level of interest or gardening skill.

Why not get in touch and bring out your garden’s true potential?
